The OCR feature in jaws 13 isn't like open book. it doesn't scann text
from a sxanner. it will simply run the OCR from your screen such as
inside an application like a PDf document. i would advice that you
download the what's new in jaws 13. they explain this feature in great
detail. if you are running the publick beta of 13 now, you will be able
to download the what's new useing the check for updates option under the
help menu. if not, please visit
http://www.freedomscientific.com/fscast
from there you can download the FS cast that describes what is new in
jaws 13. hope this helps.
