It is the view window in outlook. Press alt H, then move across the ribbon
to view, Might work with pressing alt V, it has been a while since I have
been in there.

My problems with Outlook 2010 are that when I delete a word using control
backspace it says "blank" instead of the word I took out, it is annoying
since when I am writing something and maybe want to remove a phrase I have
to keep reading the line over to be sure I got out what I wanted. Someone
said I had to turn on delete but, I have been through all the settings for
Outlook and the default settings and don't see such an option. I actually
needed to reboot my computer to get a lot of things in Outlook to work right
the first time I installed this last update, and even now it occasionally
wants to read my desktop in addition to the messages in the folder.

Hmm, one place I did not look under was keyboard settings. but it has never
changed this particular behavior in the past.

Hi David,
I appreciate your kind help. The problems started this morning after
jaws installed the latest update.
I am not sure how to access the view menu. I tried JAWS key + v. I
didn't see anything like the settings you mentioned in your E-Mail.
     Thank you.

God bless,
Mark

Hello there;

Is this something that happens each and every time you open outlook?
Or, has this just started,
Have you unloaded and reloaded jaws?
Closed and reopened outlook?
I'm using jaws13 and outlook 2010 and I'm not experiencing this behavior.
I will mention,
I have,
Navigation pane set to normal,
Reading pane set to off,
The to-do-bar set to off.
You do this through the view menu,

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 13 update and MS Outlook 2010

Hi
I installed the latest version of JAWS 13. After that when I am
navigating the list of E-Mails in my In Box, it says the proper information
about each E-Mail as I arrow to it. However, When I tell JAWS to read the
line to hear the information about the E-Mail JAWS is currently on, I hear
garbled information from some other part of the screen. Any ideas on how to
fix this?
     Thank you.

God bless,
Mark
