If you are getting a new iPhone, you really do not need to deal with iTunes on the PC, unless you want to transfer content on your PC to the iPhone, i. e. music, etc. There is an iTunes and App Store app on the phone itself that you can use to purchase and download content and apps directly to your phone, and even software updates can be done directly. The new or updated iPhone gives you access to a new service called iCloud, which allows you to store content and backups on cloud servers, again making the use of a PC unnecessary. But back to topic, JAWS plays well with iTunes if you want to go that route. There are paid script packages, namely JTUNES, and a free package called Blindtunes, which make working with iTunes easier, but are not necessary.
