Rick, Sorry about that, meant to reply to Andrew off list as only my first inquiry was JAWS related. Sure wish the reply directly to sender script worked consistently. I'll check more thoroughly in the future, again sorry about that

May at some point put some of my music into ITunes from my PC but certainly not the entire collection. Doubt I'll be purchasing music through ITunes but possibly. If I do download any apps seems to make sense to do directly to the IPhone. Does the ICloud thing kind of work like dropbox where you get a limited amount of access free but beyond that there is a cost? Seems I read somewhere something about a $24.95 per year membership fee to ICloud? All of this is very new to me but I'll learn quick Thanks Al -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Baracco, Andrew W Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2011 1:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] ITunes If you are getting a new iPhone, you really do not need to deal with iTunes on the PC, unless you want to transfer content on your PC to the iPhone, i. e. music, etc. There is an iTunes and App Store app on the phone itself that you can use to purchase and download content and apps directly to your phone, and even software updates can be done directly. The new or updated iPhone gives you access to a new service called iCloud, which allows you to store content and backups on cloud servers, again making the use of a PC unnecessary. But back to topic, JAWS plays well with iTunes if you want to go that route. There are paid script packages, namely JTUNES, and a free package called Blindtunes, which make working with iTunes easier, but are not necessary. I will be updating my phone and going with an IPhone. I will need to install ITunes. I'm using Win XP Pro and latest version of JAWS 13. Will ITunes play nice out of the box so to speak or are there little adjustments that will make it better, i.e. scripts etc. I know there has been discussion in the past on this and our notorious list founder loves it (smile) but I never paid much attention as I didn't use it.
