Hello Prateek,

We are working on finishing up the December update of JAWS 13 and I just
tested this issue of reading the buttons used to set the borders for
tables in Word 2010 under Win 7 and they are reading as expected in our
current internal build. This should be publically available in the next
2 weeks.

Regards,
Eric

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JFW13 doesn't read the buttons to set borders for
tables in MS Word 2007/2010esnt

Hello listers.

While making a table in MS Word 07 or 2010 when you select the table you
created, hit the applications key, arrow up to borders and shading,
select custom, full line with whatever thickness, all the buttons there
for vertical border lines and horizontal border lines which all ought to
be pressed to ensure the table has all horizontal and vertical lines
showing, JFW 13 has quit reading the text to allow me to use it. Instead
all it says as one tabs is 'border tool bar' and pressing space bar or
enter on each of these does nothing or at least u hear noting change or
no response really from JAWs. this is a concern as I've no idea how the
table looks regarding its borders.

I know there are other ways to create a table with diff settings in word
but my Q is specifically regarding the above process which worked just
fine until MS Word 2003.

Does anyone have any idea on how to read those border buttons (about 6
of them there with 3 for each of horizontal and vertical borders?
