Hi all

I’ve been trying to use the software at

Wwwhamsphere.com

For those of you who may be interested, this is a kind of simulated virtual
amateur radio environment which you can join even if you are not an amateur
radio operator.

The site has a special software package which you must download in order to
use it. It seems as this is written in Java.

The interesting thing is that I cannot seem to access the logon screen at
all in order to log on to the software. But it does seem as if once you get
past the logon screen, things may actually be usuable.

I wrote to the owner of the service in order to find out about accessibility
issues with the software and he replied promptly that he would be more than
willing to try and make it more accessible. Unfortunately I don’t have the
necessary computer skills to assist him.

I actually did manage to access the logon screen with NVDA and then switched
back to Jaws. But surely there should be an easier way to do this?

Andre
