Think Flor had a suggestion that is worth trying. Highlight the folder and cut it with control + x and than reboot your computer and it should be gone. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kimsan" <[email protected]>

RJ:
I have a folder called tech emails in both my documents folder and my
downloads folder. They are the same exact folder. I managed to remove it
from my documents folder by going to windows explorer and into my documents
and deleted it that way but now I cannot seem to delete it from the
downloads folder, which I am working on right now.

Floor: I cannot use revo unless revo can delete created folders which when I
just opened it right now (revo that is) it just shows programs) I also
checked to see if they are read only which it isn't.
Wow, why is it so difficult to delete a dam folder! Lol.

I would first empty the files in the sub folder and than the sub folder and
than do the same in the next sub folder. Always the files first by opening
the folder and do a select all (control+a) and delete. than that folder,
when it is empty of all files.

RJ:
I failed to mention in my original email that the folder I have is in
my documents folder. I tried deleting the sub folders first and when I
hit delete or shift delete, it says preparing to delete cancel button
and it has been 15 minutes and it still says that.

Do the tree things and delete all the info in the last folder first
and than the folder, if it won't let you delete the master folder. For
many times the folder can't be deleted before it is emptied of files
and sub folders.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] deleting a folder

Hi,

I'm gunna ask this here cuzz I am not getting answers from google or
any other list.

I have a folder that has folders within the folder and I am wanting
to remove the entire thing.

However, when I press delete it says recycling dialog cancel button
and when routing jaws to PC and read current line it says discovering
items.

I have waited at least twenty minutes to see if this folder will
delete but it doesn't. Why does it say recycling dialog and
discovering items. WDoes anyone have the slightest idea why this
folder isn't deleting? Its just a random folder I created with a
bunch of notes in them.

Thank you.
