Look at the html settings in the default jaws scripts. that is a web page element to break up the page like a line break.

Hi Fred,

I have tried everything I could think of to stop Jaws from reading,
separator. I tried to find, " separator ", in the speech & sounds manager,
tried copying the line that Jaws reads as separator, & putting it into the
dictionary manager, been through all the options in quick settings, & for
the hell of it, kicked the computer a couple of times! LOL LOL Nothing
has worked. If someone could come up with a fix a lot of people would be
very happy. I'm sure a script could be written or something might possibly
be done in the script manager but, who knows what else would get screwed up
playing around in there. Take care.

  Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws saying separator

I am using windows 7 and latest jaws 12.0 and I would like to know how to
stop jaws from saying separator while reading the internet. I used to be
able to stop it by using the dictionary but this no longer works for me.
I would appreciate any info on this.
