is the window maximized?

also, I don't know that much about MS outlook, but I was under the impression that one could select one of a few applications in which to open and read the messages?

are all discussing this using the same application?

I've got "message automatically read" and still no go. That's why this is
so frustrating; it ought to work! The next message opens as it should but
jaws doesn't read automatically. Tearing my hair, Karen

Reece, this is John and my check box to automatically read the message is
also on and still Jaws will not read a new message after the previous item
was deleted.

Karen:

INSERT-V to go into the verbosity settings.
Down arrow until you hear jaws say messages automatically read off. Hit
SPACEBAR to turn on this feature and then hit escape to save your option.

Open a message and jaws should start reading. Hope this helps!
