Hello,

Is this a laptop? I've encountered similar issues when certain things
change on the computer's hardware configuration. A common one is
wireless adapters in laptops. If you install JAWS with the wireless
option enabled, then eventually reboot JAWS with WiFi turned
off/disabled, JAWS will ask for reactivation. This was true with version
10 and 11, unsure with 12/13.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

George

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS Reactivation.

Hello, Friends,
I have experience quite a number of times that even after activating
JAWS successfully and having used for weeks and months, at times, JAWS
asks to activate.
Sometimes, it functions once the computer is reboots. At times, it does
not and has to reactivate.
Suppose if you are a single license holder, by doing so again and again
only loses the number of keys to be available for activation. How can we
solve this?
looking forward to hearings soon.

Hello Kuenga,

If you press the Windows key and type in "View Network Connections"
(without
the quotes), you should find the item you are wanting. Press enter key
on
the View Network Connections choice and you will have a list of the
networks
including the local area network. Select the local area network icon
and
press enter key. Use down arrow key to either the Internet Protocol 4
or
Internet Protocol 6. Tab to the Properties button and press enter key.

Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Manually provide IP Address.

Hello friends,
Unlike windows XP, I found difficulty of going to the location where we
can
manually provide the IP address, for LAN Network in Windows 7. Of
course I
know that we need to go to the Local Area Network property, but unless a
sighted friends help me, it has not been easy for me to reach there
using
JAWS. I always had to find a sighted person to click with mouse.
Can someone provide me a accessible steps to enable to go to the
desired
location?
Looking forward to hearing soon.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] daily information hard drive and search tips

Daily Tip:
Safety In Numbers

An easy way to give your data a small measure of protection is to add a
second hard drive to your computer. Hard drive installation isn't
difficult
and it gives you the opportunity to store your documents, music, videos,
and
other media separately from Windows. If a virus crashes Windows, you can
reinstall Windows on the first hard drive without erasing your files on
the
second drive. See our website for articles on the topic.

  Daily Term:
stop words

Extremely common words that a search tool sometimes omits, including
"and"
and "the," among others. Placing the words in quotation marks sometimes
forces the engine to find them.
