This was exactly my issue when I got my new Windows 7 machine. The below is exactly what i did and Explorer has yet to crash in the 20 or so days since I made those adjustments.

However, it was reported several weeks back that if you turned off the option show preview handlers in preview pain, the issue should be resolved. You can find that by navigating to windows explorer and folder options and once you are in the treview, press s five times and you should arrive to the option. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Graham Smith Sent: Monday, March 05, 2012 4:19 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] Explore no responding HI windows seven 64 bit and jaws 13 I have the problem of windows explorer not responding. Please can somebody remind me how to get to the window pane checkbox within options or view. I cant find it anywhere at the moment. I know unchecking this solved my problem several months ago and I am wondering if this checkbox has been checked again, I am sure I have not checked it but would love to be able to check and see.
