Another thing that you might want to try is using the search box in
Control Panel, as opposed to the one in the start menu.

    Hello Kliphton,  Have you tried typing the full word of network in
the box?  if so do you  have the same results?  At times you need to
type the whole thing in just so it knows what you are looking for.

Okay, didn't know how to word this question.  When I go to the top of my
start menu in windows 7, there is a search box.  Up until about 3 weeks
ago when I typed the word "net" it would bring up my network, so I could
manage the devices, see what was connected, and let me make any changes.
Now when I type this word, all it brings up is something to do with my
all in one printer.  Even when I go all the way down, it doesn't bring
up the network,
it says "see more results"   Is there any way to reset this without
restoring to factory defaults?
