It does have a clipboard organizer on my HP laptop win7. but I find it
easer to just copy a shortcut off the desktop to get rid of what is on it,
instead of typing in clip in the search field.

Your absolutely correct;
Win7 doesn't have a clipboard viewer,
Thus, perhaps trying to put the xp file,
Clipbrd.exe, on the win7 machine.

I misworded my last post. I should have asked if Windows7 has a clipboard
viewer. Obviously it has a clipboard or something similar. anyways, in
doing a Google search for Windows7 clipboard viewer, I found a blog that
stated that Windows7 does not have a clipboard viewer. I am still going
to
try putting the, clipbrd.exe, from XP into Windows7 but, the Windows7
computer isn't accessible at the moment so, I'll have to wait until later

This won't work for those who are using jarte for example.
One thing that may work is?
If one has an XP machine,
Go into the windows/system32 folder,
Look for the file,
Clipbrd.exe,
Now, you could paste to a flash drive,
Take it to windows 7,
And paste into the same folder.
I'm thinking this would work, then you could create a shortcut, etc.

It was mentioned the other day that the clipboard couldn't be accessed
by
typing, clipbrd, into the run dialogue box. If you type the word,
clip
into the search box, Microsoft Clip Organizer should come up. Now, I
can't
say this with 100% surety, because I have Microsoft Office 2010
installed
&
the Clip Organizer seems to be part of Microsoft Office.
If you have MS Office 2010 installed, do the following to get to, & or
make
a shortcut; 1. Go to the start menu, & get into All Programs.
2. Find Microsoft Office sub-menu, press enter.
3. Press enter on Microsoft Office Tools.
4. Arrow down to Microsoft Clip Organizer. If you want to open / view
it,
press enter. If you would like to create a shortcut , with the MS Clip
Organizer highlighted, press the context menu key, & you can down arrow
through the list to find the option for making a shortcut.
