You need to install the JAVA access bridge, this part of the control panel will 
then read, I had to use the JAWS cursor though.
A google search for the JAVA Access Bridge should find it, if not, let me know 
off list and I will see if I can help.

I would like to disable Java updater. Java indicates I can do this within the 
java control panel which is located under Java in windows seven control panel. 
However, this part of the program doesn't appear to be accessible using Jaws 
v13. Does anybody have away to disable Java from wanting to update all the time?
