In the section for your phone, press the apps button then tab over a ways there should be a list of apps and check boxes next to them, uncheck anything you do not want on the phone. If you want the app completely gone go to the apps line in I tunes tab once all your apps will show up, press delete on the one that you wish never to put back on your phone, one that did not work for you for example, say yes to the questions and it is permanently gone.
