According to the JFW help file on OCR, the Control 1 will make the pdf
actual size while in Adobe reader. It will make the image larger so JFW's
OCR will have a better chance at recognizing the text.

I forgot to mention that pressing first control 1 before starting the ocr
process will help get a more acuret OCR from JFW.

Hello Tara,
If you press incert and space bar you will hear a click then press the
letter o, followed by the letter w. You will hear it say OCR finished and
the jaws curser will become active and if you then arrow down it will read
the ocr for the text in that window. You will have to then page down and
go
through the process again for each new page. I hope this answers your
question about JFW's OCR. It is a little bit limited but it works great
in
a pinch.
