hmmm, it should see it" the only thing I can think of off hand is that it
saw it when you first plugged it in, misidentified it, and now thinks its a
{insert X item here} so when you plug it in it loads the drivers for X and
thinks its done.that or I don't remember your systems details, but could you be plugging a USB 1.0 device into a USB 3.0 plug? although things say there universal and back compatible, I have one on the front of my main and it (the far right 3.0 port) doesn't always recognize things that do work in the next port to the left (a 2.0 port) have you tried it in another port? if this don't bring something to the for, yell at me again and I'll knock around the web for a while to see what else I can find! take care and good luck, inthane -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of andre van deventer Sent: Friday, August 10, 2012 2:53 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] focus blue not recognized by computer! Mornings! Went to town quickly and bought one. The machine still does not recognise the focus blue but I am now leaving it on the hub to see if it will at least charge. I never had the problem with my desktop machine at home. You simply popped the usb plug into the usb port and the thing worked! ----- Original Message ----- From: "inthaneelf" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 10, 2012 9:56 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] focus blue not recognized by computer! > I'm skipping the "look to see if someone answered since it sounds like a > soonest answer would be a good thing. > > if the unit in question needs a powered hub/USB port and your not getting > the power from the port/machine your using, you may need to purchase a > "powered hub" these were made for times when to many of the objects hooked > into USB ports needed power and the computer could not supply them all. > > its a hub that has a power cord you plug in and it will supply power to > the > items plugged into it. > > HTH, > inthaneelf > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of andre van > deventer > Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2012 3:03 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [JAWS-Users] focus blue not recognised by computer! > > Hi all > > Hopefully one of you clever folks can help with this!! > > I'm using a small linovo netbook computer. > > For some strange reason, I can for example install my nokia e52 on the the > usb ports and use it to connect to the pc.
