Did you get your PlexTalk Pocket working of the USB? Sure hope that charger's a good, respectable one!

I've managed to get it started charging with another charger which is not an fs one from the mains. Let's see if it is fully charged whether it will work.

need to make sure the unit is working. Are you getting any message or any braille dots, on the display in braille after windows starts up? It should be like: batt%100 [computer braille] and the three rightmost characters, usb . If you get a line of dashes, that means the battery is recalibrating itself. Have you looked into the Diagnostics Mode? (This is with the yunit disconnected.)

Mornings!

Went to town quickly and bought one. The machine still does not recognise the focus blue but I am now leaving it on the hub to see if it will at least charge.

I never had the problem with my desktop machine at home. You simply popped the usb plug into the usb port and the thing worked!

I'm skipping the "look to see if someone answered since it sounds like a
soonest answer would be a good thing.

if the unit in question needs a powered hub/USB port and your not getting the power from the port/machine your using, you may need to purchase a "powered hub" these were made for times when to many of the objects hooked into USB ports needed power and the computer could not supply them all.

its a hub that has a power cord you plug in and it will supply power to the
items plugged into it.

Hi all

Hopefully one of you clever folks can help with this!!

I'm using a small linovo netbook computer.

For some strange reason, I can for example install my nokia e52 on the the usb ports and use it to connect to the pc. But the USB ports will not recognise neither my focus blue or my plextalk pocket. It will recognise my
card reader though as well as my USB keyboard!

What could be the trouble here? Does the USB ports simply not give out enough power and if so is it possible to increase the power output of the
USB ports in some kind of setting?

This is a rather serious problem as I will be travelling next week and would
need the functionality.

Regards

Andre
