Hi Martin and all,
Thanks. Yes, TB 3 is a good stand by and I was taught well. I have the
program in a folder on my hard drive from when I originally downloaded
it. I will tell her to try that. Thank you. Sometimes older is better
for us.

I know someone who uses Thunderbird. She uses version 3.1.11. It's
downloadable. It's the most compatible one I found. It's pretty old, but it
works fine. There was one time I remember (I think it was getting to the
message list) that she had to SHIFT+TAB and then TAB to get JAWS to focus on
the list of messages. But other than that, I don't remember any problems.
She uses JAWS 13. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS 12 and Thunderbird?
Hi all,
I'm posting this question for a friend. She's using JAWS 12 and Thunderbird
12. She actually can't use this combination as it simply won't read for her.
Is there a better version of Thunderbird that she should use? Thanks for any
help.
Lisa
