Try your start up wizard
The easiest way to do this is
insert j to bring up the jaws interface
now tap
alt h then z
tab about three times and there is the radio button for all options like characters, characters and words, words or none
tab to okay and then let me know how you have done!
Good luck

Hello, thank you, but when I sealect carrecters and words nothing but words
speaks. In others words when I yy type all I hear is words and not
carrecters. I have everything set for carrecters and words and when in the
settings center I did a shift control and the letter D for default.

insert 2 which goes from characters tap again to words and then characters
and words and none

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Key Echo

Hello all, I use windows 7 and Jaws 13 and I’m trying to find how to keep my
keyboard echo set to carrectors and words. I have it set that way in the
settings center but for some reason it just won’t hold. Could someone please
help me with this.
Thank you for your help.
