Hi Al,

I just went to my Win7 system, went to Add Remove Programs / Windows
Explorer, & Jaws wasn't reading any graphics. So, I went to the Settings
Center, graphics was set at Labeled, switched it to all, applied & okayed
it. Jaws now reported graphics. So, I ran the auto graphics labeler, & it
took a few minutes to run its course . When the auto graphics labeler
finished, Jaws announced that it labeled 15 things or, whatever the hell the
proper language is! LOL LOL I then went into the Settings Center
again, set graphics to labeled, applied & okayed the changes. Well, I'll be
damned, Jaws didn't read graphics anymore. Give the auto graphics labeler a
try & see if it works for you as well. You can always delete the graphics
file if it doesn't work for you in your Jaws settings / ENU folder. Hope
this helps. Take care.
Mike

  Hi Alan,

Try going into the Settings Center, default all applications, Graphics
& Symbols, Graphic Verboscity, press the spacebar until Jaws reports
Labeled, & press enter to save the changes & close. Or, while in an
application Press Insert + V, for Jaws options, go to Graphics, press
the spacebar until Jaws reports Labeled, & press enter. Hope this
  helps. Take care.

On my Win 7 64 bit machine JAWS seems to announce most, if not all
graphics s it encounters. For instance if I go to add / remove
programs list when arrowing down through them it announces 2
  graphics
with different numbers before saying the name of the program. Is
  there
a setting I can change to eliminate hearing this?

    Thanks
    Al
