Susie,

When you talk about adding it to the Stream, what do you mean, the Victor
Stream?

When you open any document, you can always select save-as and save it as a
different version. I thought you were wanting to make all your documents in
Word 2010 in the old .doc format.

I did this, I opened the docqument in the old style, and then opened a new
docqument, and cut and paste, and now it does not say compatablity mode, now
when I want to add it to the stream, do I have to resave it to html, or
plain text! To place in notes folder? sue

Yes, you can go into Word Options and tell it to create/save documents in
the old .doc format.

Can that be changed? By making a new docqument, and copying it to the new
format?

It means you are using a newer version of Microsoft Office. The 2007 and up
use the .d o c x as the standard default format, instead of the older .d o c
file type in Microsoft Word in Office versions 2003 and below.

Hi, when I open a document that I had created when I was using windows 2003
and jaws eight, when I open the document in windows seven, and Jaws13, and
word 2010, it says, part one compatibility mode, what does that mean? Thanks
and when I go to each chapter in the document, it says heading level two,
not used to that info, what does each mean? Thanks sue
