one is most likely a quick scan and the other is a full scan.

Hi gang,
When I have my computer do a scheduled full system scan with microsoft
security essentials, it takes nearly 6 hours to complete the scan. When I
scan without a scan schedule, it takes less than 6 hours almost 2 hours.
Does anybody know why that a scheduled scan is taking so so long for it to
complete scanning? When I have it set to automatically do a full system
scan my PC at 10 A.M. it takes so so long for it to complete scanning. I
usually turn off my laptop in the evenings to give it a break, but when
it's scanning I can't do this. Do anyone know why this is? Thanks!
