Well, I'm not there looking at your machine, but my guess is you haven't got no script working. Hit the context key and check through the menus. If noscript is there, make sure it isn't set to allow scripts globally. If it is blocking the actual website and you're still getting flash, you might also need to install ad block plus, I'm also using that one to eliminate most web ads. I suppose something could be getting through on your machine because you aren't running it.

But how do you use it?

I've added the no script addon to firefox but if I access www.therific.co.za
exactly the same thing happens.

An add-on for firefox. Google no script plugin or just do a search in
firefox's ad-ons. What it does is block all javascript. You can unblock
sites by using its menu item under the context key if you need javascript
there, or temporarily unblock everything if you aren't sure what you should
block and just want to get the page no matter what.
Since a lot of flash is triggered off of javascript, you usually get the
non-flash version of a blocked page, if there is one.

With IE, you get a flash website. With firefox and the no script
plug-in, you get a regular website because the flash won't run unless
you allow it. You might want to add firefox and no script to your
toolkit.

André,

Eventually I got Flash start, Flash end; but nothing in between,
which seems to me to mean that the flash content there is not
navigable in JAWS13.

Hi folks.

Trying to access a specific website with Jaws 13.

What happens when I get onto the home page is that there is a same
page link called navigation but if you get a message the only thing
you hear is "container loading.

Would there be any way to enter the website?

The address for the site is

www.therific.co.za

Does anyone have any idea how to get past this?

Andre
