Hello Paul, That was the problem. I don't know how that preview setting got changed. It happened during the process of loading JAWS 14 and the updates. But anyway, it's fine now, thanks to your help. Thanks Steve

Hi Sounds like you have the preview pain turned on, if using office 2003 then go into the view menu and arrow down till you come to "Reading pain" sub menu and in here check "Off", if 2010 then press keys, "Alt + V then down arrow once" Now use the tab key till you come to "Reading pan button" and when on it press the spacebar once again choose "Off" and see if this works. Hello, I loaded JAWS 14 and updates this morning. I am using XP and Office 2003. I use MS outlook for my email. When I arrow down or up thru my inbox, JAWS keeps saying either something about extra line breaks being removed or something about "clip here to download pictures" Can I do something to get JAWS to quit saying this as I go thru my inbox? Also, When I open an email, the blinking cursor no longer moves down line by line as I read the email. JAWS does seem to be reading the email normally but the cursor is no longer moving up and down as I arrow up and down thru the lines of the email. Any help would be appreciated.
