It is a Sony laptop with Windows home premium and JAWS 13. This is with 
using both speakers and a headset.

Tara, Can you explain your setup? are you using something like a USB 
headset? or are you using windows vista or seven? I remember they have the 
individual volume controls. Maybe I can give more answers when I know what
