if you use revo uninstaller:
http://www.revouninstaller.com/

and use it at it's most harsh setting (if you go one window at a time and
actually read them its easy to find and run this application!) it will
remove most of the left over registry entries for you, that's why I
recommended it previously

hi, do you know how to get into the registry?you might be able to fix things

by going into the registry and deleting anything that says
freedomscientific.
sometimes when you have to uninstall a program, you have to make sure to
delete all traces of the program. like after you uninstall Jaws, then you go

into the program files and find the freedomscientif c folder and totally
delete it with the shift delete key. It will ask you if you want to erace
the folder or not. I must tell you, if you do the shift delete command, it
will not move it to the recycle bin folder. Instead it will totally erace
the folder you are trying to delete.
So, you'll probably have to uninstall Jaws and delete the freedomscientific
folder afterwords.
Then, go into the windows registry by using the run dialog with windows key
r, then typing, regedit.exe
Now, after you hit enter, you will see a bunch of registry folders that are
either open or closed. The first one you will probably see first, is HKEY
classes Root. it will either say open or closed just go down until it says
something like, HKEY current user. open that folder with right arrow and go
down till you see the folder called software. open that folder and go down
until you see the Freedomscientific folder. just hit the delete key and it
will ask you if you want to delete the registry folder. Hit Y for yes and it

will be deleted.
Next, hit left arrow a couple of times till you close the HKEY Current user
folder.
Then, go down again until you see the folder called, HKEY local machine.
open that folder with right arrow and go down until you see the software
folder. open the folder and go down until you see the freedomscientific
folder. delete that folder and hit left arrow until you close the HKEY local

machine folder. Sorry if this is too long, but I hope I helped you.

Do you have another screen reader like NVDA so you can do this? I'm not sure

if it will fix your problem, but sometimes programs will get corrupted, and
even an uninstall and a reinstall won't help, unless, as a last resort, you
have to go unto the windows registry folder and deleting the program folder.

If all else fails, maybe try a reformat of windows.
