I know about the Flash Player option in the Control Panel. But Janie claims that Adobe Flash is listed on the Start menu of her Windows 7 computer.

Try looking in the control panel.

Is that so? On my XP computer, Adobe Flash Player is not listed on the desktop or start menu, so where did you find it?

I posted about this on another list. The best way to update Adobe Flash now
that it is no longer avaiable on Ninite Installer is to access the site
below. Search for the check box for installing Google Chrome and Google
Tool Bar and make sure you uncheck it before you start the download. It is
checked by default. Then update Adobe Flash using IE and then Firefox, if
you use it. You can verify which version of Adobe Flash is currently
installed on your computer by going to Flash Player on the Control Panel,
accessing the Advanced Tab. and then scrolling down near the bottom of the
page with the JAWS cursor to see the version of Flash installed for IE and
Firefox.

hello there.

I noticed yesterday that Ninite.com quit providing options to update flash player. This leaves me without any accessible way to update flash.

Do you know of another accessible way to update flash on my win7 PC?
