Really? It's probably more to do with the loss of their advertising
revenue because of ninite.com's service that these companies are
concerned about it.

The metter of fect is that this site doesn't preserve softwares nicely
and I'm afrait other softwares are thinking to do the same.
Particularly skype and java runtime.
