the trouble is you missed a step, on a webpage you need to stop the auto
read of the page, then update the page (the trick they use for the page
reading is to cause the pc cursor to move from top to bottom of the page in
a read all type manover, and cause the virtual to follow, thus you start the
reading and keep going down the page, to get things lined up you need to
stop the auto read, make sure your virtual cursor is on the correct spot,
refresh the screen (insert and escape) and then do the route jaws to pc.

this doesn't always get you where you wanted to go, dynamic pages are
notorious for making things extremely hard to get at now a days, but if the
"thing" is accessible at all, then this is the way to get at it.

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws cursor not following PC cursor

Hi

In IE, when JAWS is using the virtual cursor, I have never seen routing the
JAWS cursor to the virtual pc cursor come anywhere close to the actual
position on the screen. I have not use Fire Fox that much to have tried it.
I recall some previous version of JAWS where Freedom Scientific said they
had resolved this issue, but I've never seen any evidence of that.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws cursor not following PC cursor

Hi All,

When I route the Jaws cursor to the PC cursor, I'm not in the same place as
I was with the PC cursor. I need to route the Jaws cursor to the PC to click
a control Jaws 13 isn't recognizing with either IE or Firefox. When I route
the Jaws cursor, it either switches me to another open program, or it just
reads a small amount of text no matter whether the cursor is in real, focus,
unrestricted, etc. I guess somehow the 2 cursors have become unattached. Can
someone please tell me how to get them back together?

Thank you,
Shari
