Hello You can take a CD and rip it with windows media; version 11 is really nice as it allows you set the byte rate. It puts your music in folder called my music. After you are finished with all the CD's you want to rip, I would close out windows media player and then plug in my mp3 player. Then go to my computer, and find your mp3 player in that list of items and press enter. I would make a folder on your mp3 player called music; that way you would know where everything is. And while that's open, go to your my music folder and select what it is you want on your mp3 player. You can either select folders or individual songs. I hope this has been helpful.----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan McCurley" <[email protected]>

I would think you could do this easily; try loading your cod, then select all the tracks on it and paste them onto your mp3 player. See if that works. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rich" <[email protected]>

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Music transfer?

Hi all,
I have 14 and XP pro.
This topic is new to me so please be gentle.

I want an efficient way to transfer/copy music from my CD's on to an MP3 player.
Is there a program to do this quickly/easily?
Do you have to burn the music on the hard drive first, or is there some way to copy the info directly from CD to the MP3 player?

Thanks for any help.

Rich
