Hi Rick,
Thank you very, very much for the help.
Yes, I now have solved the issue.

The problem I faced, was, indeed, an irritating one, especially when you are
working ona document or when you need to hurry things up.

I believe, one of the friend of the list had also expressed the same issue.

I am sure, Mick Du Buisson, addressed in the e-mail might have received the
same e-mail and might have fixed as I did.
Once again, thank you very, very much.

Regards from Bhutan.

Hi Kuenga
You did not say which version of Windows you are using, but I will take it
that it is Windows 7, and if that is the case, try the following:
1. type the following in the search box on the start menu:
Folder Options
You may not need to type it completely, just until that choice comes up in
the list, press enter.
2. When the properties open, you will be on the general tab, so move to the
view tab 3. Tab until you come to the tree-view of options, and press the
letter S, until you hear the following:
show preview handlers in the preview Pane.
this will be the fifth item that starts with S, and more than likely will
be, on.
Uncheck this item using the spacebar.
4. Next, tab to the apply button, spacebar it, and then tab to the okay
button, and do the same.
5. Re-boot your system, and see if this corrects the problem.
HTH,
Rick Justice

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Windows not responding.

Hi,

Quite often I face with my computer of not being able to open or cloase a
document. I get the message:

"[Window Title]

Windows Explorer

[Main Instruction]

Windows Explorer is not responding

[Content]

If you restart or close the program, you might lose information.

[Restart the program] [Close the program] [Wait for the program to respond]"

Should I wish to go to other locations such as Drive C or Drive D, I start
getting the following message:

"explorer.exe

The remote procedure call failed and did not execute.

OK"

However using the right click (application key or context key,) and choose
open, I can get into the folder.

How can I resolve it?

Looking forward to hearing soon.
