Thanks no what I ment was could they run it with speech if they were blind

I don't understand the part of your question about it working without a
screen reader.  As far as that goes its like any other piece of software if
the person needs a screen reader then they'll need one with Dragon.

If they are trying to run Dragon and Jaws then they need JSay, the Jaws
interface programme.  Since Dragon responds to verbal commands it hears its
really pretty impossible to work it without an interface because it hears
and tries to respond to Jaws.

Hope your friend finds a system that works for them!
