I used to have certain of my utilities automatically debit my account 
until one made a mistake and debited far too much, and then it took me 
months to get my money back.  I know it is a bit reactionary, but I prefer 
to have the control.  Some places allow you to approve the withdrawal 
before it goes through, but all in all, I would prefer to make the 
payments myself.  Luckily, although slightly annoying, I can do that 
through my bank.
