The problem is getting more interesting. I brought up my email and it stated
that the verizon server can not be located, I ran the trouble shooter and was
told that the smt server is not responding. a minute later my email came up and
the trouble shooter reported that there is no problems. Went to IE. the third
link I received the page can not be displayed and the trouble shooter reported
dns server not responding. about 2 minutes later the page came up and again the
trouble shooter reported no problems.
Could this be in my router, it is quite a few years old. About 3 years ago the
firmware was updated but they could not guaranty that the update would take. I
really do not want to purchase a new router if it is not the problem.
