hello Flor; yes, I did go to add, the Synthesizer and braille manager; I do see the braille edge, which is selected, however, the only braille I see is, terminal mode. I restarted jaws, as was prompted, restarted computer with the device connected, however still no braille. very strange.

Then, in the Synthesizer and braille manager; Does JAWS see the braille Edge among those listed? if another braille display is still the default, then you will need to change that and/or remove it, if JAWS still doesn't see the braille Edge. if there are no active braille displays, you need to tell JAWS (check) the Braille Edge. Add it in via the Synthesizer and braille manager.
