I would like to comment on this subject.
There is a program called Recover and it allows you to recovery deleted
emails/folders and I believe it's on the this list's web site under programs

Now for another interesting possibility I did just now as way of a test.
Please note first, I did this using window's mail on a window's 7.

I created a folder to test how this would work and put some junk email in
it, then I deleted it.

Now as we know, this folder is not in the deleted of the email delete
folder, nor was it in my recycle bin.

So, I went to my advance tab page under tools/options of my window's mail
client, and tab to the maintenance ...entered on it.

Next, I tab to the store emails...entered again

This showed me where my emails are stored, I copied the long c:\ to
clipboard
I then invoked the run command and pasted it there and entered on it

When it opened a list of several items I first looked in the windows mail
folder, not much help there.
Next, I looked at the backup same deal, lastly I chose the folder folder,
this was pay dirt.

Inside that was all my folders in window's mail client. So, I went to the
test folder, then I did a send to command through Alt F, choosing send to,
choosing documents. This moved that folder to my documents.

I went o my documents and found the folder, I opened it, the emails were
there, now just entering on them, I was able to read the content of each
email, so I know now how to recover accidental deleted folders/emails, and
now they are saved in my docs. But here's the deal..
they are labeled in series of some numbers, so what I did was after opening
each one, I copied and pasted into an email in windows mail saved it as a
draft. Alternatively, open notepad and paste them there and save as well.

Whew, what a relief this was to figure this out and know you can find
deleted emails again!
I hope all that made sense, and most likely, there's a more simpler way.

I don't know what client you are using, but I would use the cut command and
paste it in the inbox folder.
