I forgot to mention in my previous post that I am still installing updates on her system which at the moment is in the middle of around 118 of the things.
Who knows there might be an updated video driver in the mix, I know that sometimes dreams come true. If you only have the 16 bit option showing. Then windows is working off of a generic video driver. This happens a lot with upgrade from xp with old dated hardware. Then do your repair on jaws.
