There is another way. I haven't done it in ages, and I'll look it up before I tell you to do it. But I used to have a dell that acted up. I had to actually remove the usb ports, then when I rebooted, they showed up againa dn things worked fine. as I said, I'l look it up then get back to you. You have Windows eight?
