When I try to open a file in MS Word, Excell and Word Pad, I key in the commands, find the file, and enter on it.
At that point JAWS stops speaking, and the computer hangs up. This does not happen when we turn Jaws off. I can open the files from File Explorer. This configuration was working fine until Wednesday this week, and then the problem started. I am using JAWS 14, Windows 7, and Office 2007. Here is what I have done. I uninstalled JAWS 14, and reinstalled it by download from the Freedom Scientific website. I have uninstalled a trial version of Norton, to make sure I am running only one antivirus program -- Microsoft Security Essentials. I have run msconfig and disabled everything on start up, except for my Drop Box. Any ideas on what might be causing this?
