My limited intelligence is certainly not insulted.
I am grateful for any and all assistance.

Hi Rich. Wow what a step to take. Hope someone's got your hand, luckily
the list does. :) Here are a few things.
1. If you have windows sixty four, you'll need that version of jaws. Other
then that, you can install programs as you need them, and there are two
folder paths. The first says c:\Program files. Easy this is where all your
sixty four bit programs, if you have them, are found. IE. has a sixty four
bit program if i remember right. The other folder path is c:\program
files\86 or something like that. All this means is this is where your 32
bit programs are put. so all of this probably confusing language to tell
you, just pay attention to where things are installed, but usually
programs know where to install themselves. If you are a little bit better
at computers then I'm thinking, I hope I haven't insulted your
intelligence. I used windows mail, it worked of or me though like it's
predecessor I did pull my hair out a time or two when some of those lovely
errors popped up. If you'd like more help feel free to contact me off
list. And someone make sure i've got those folders right? i'm not albs to
check at the moment.

Rich, just one thing. There is no outlook express or its equivalent on
Windows 7. I use the outlook on the Microsoft office package. It is not
as
easy as outlook express was, but is much easier than trying to use other
things in my opinion. Good luck. Judy & tallie

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Please help with XP to 7 upgrading considerations
Hi all,
I am in the process of getting a new PC with Windows 7.
I currently have XP, JAWS 14 and am using Outlook Express.
Please advise me on me anything and everything I should know to perform
this
upgrade.
If the new PC is 64 bit and I have 32 bit.
I have certain programs like VLC, Tiny spell, C Cleaner, Super anti
spyware,
as well as my contacts in Outlook Express, and a ton of favorites on
Internet Explorer 8.
I do have aback up hard drive, that I think has everything from my
original
PC.
How can I transfer all of my information/documents/programs as above, to
the
new PC?
Any other information regarding e mail or Internet Explorer version
should I
do?
Can I get "Outlook"on Win 7? and Explorer9 or 10?
Thank you for helping me out!
Rich
