Hi T,
If you don't know which version of Windows you are using,
it will be harder for others to help you.
If you are using Windows XP, Add/Remove Programs will show up in the control
panel.
If you are using Windows 7, it will be listed as Programs and Features.
Also, if you are using Windows 7, when you press the Windows key for the
start menu,
the first thing you should hear is "menu search box edit".

when I go to my laptop’s control panel, there is no add or remove programs
listed on the page. how can I open the list, and add this heading to the
control panel? not sure if I use win 7 or xp
