Okay. Very interesting. I'll bring this up to Eric him self on Monday on tech
talk. It's starting to sound like I may or may not have something else going
on. What are these text only sites you speak of please? Just so I can see. Oh
the pages load alright, as evidenced by being able to streem stuff like you,
and also by the fact that I've been able to go threw links with our long time
old friend, narrator. So, I now begen to wander what else may be going on.

I get a weather forecast every day, one in the morning, and one in the
afternoon. When I hit enter in the link in the e-mail, the page will open
alright in IE 11, and JAWS reads fine.
I can stream radio stations just fine, but I have to use alt/tab to get
back into the page after starting the stream with WMP. My wife says the page
goes blank, after the stream starts.
On the pages that have just text, there haven't been any problems.

Okay, see, with me it's just loading as blank end of story as they say. But it
does load the US Bing news page just fine. That's the only one that works just
fine. I submitted a report to FS earlier. I went to twit today to watch Frame
Rate, and it does play the video stream, but you can't navigate the page. It
does say the whole twit netcasts you love from people you trust thing. But once
you start hitting the arrow keys, no luck.

I see. I am having trouble with, streaming using Windows Media Player, and
a site called Blind Cafe. When I start listening to a TV show, then IE
11 goes to blank tab.

Ah okay. That explains some thing. When the US Bing news site loads, all is
well. But when I go anywere else, no luck. The sites I've tried include
Dell, Twit www.twit.tv, cyberlink, and others I can't remember at the
moment. Oh yeah, Bose too. www.bose.com

Not according to the person that I spoke to at the Microsoft
accessibility help line. He says that IE 11 is not compatible with more
than a few web sites, and the problem will be resolved in the near future.
Also, at the tech's suggestion, I tried the same web sites with another
browser. I used Google Chrome, and the same sites had no problem using JAWS
15.

So it is JAWS and the way it gets along with IE then?

Hello,
According to Ryan, at Microsoft Accessibility, IE 11 being new is having
some compatibility issues, but that those will be resolved in time...just
like with the release of all browsers.

Fortunately pages are rendering properly for me with JAWS, but I'm still
experiencing a couple of issues. JAWS says "new tab page" whenever any new
page loads, which is odd but not a big deal. A bigger deal is that Flexible
Web does not work for me anymore. I can view/add/edit/delete rules, but
rules are never applied anymore.

Any one here using Win 8.1 so far? Has IE 11 been working for you? For me
either IE 11 isn't working well, or what it seems to me is more likely is
JAWS is being odd. The pages seem to be blank. But then again, it loads the
US Bing news page just fine. So perhaps it is IE 11. I'd like to see what's
going on with every one else though.
