I close Skype in two ways. One is to find Skype on the task bar and press the Windows application key. A menu opens, and one of the choices is to quite Skype. Another way is to do pretty much the same thing, except without using the applications key, using the Systems Tray. Simply select the Skype Systems Tray icon and arrow through the menu to find quit.
I cannot figure out how to keep Skype from reloading each time the machine is booted.
