Hi In addition to the instructions below, if there's a JAWS 14 icon on your desktop, go into it the same way and tab to the shortcut field. If it says the same thing as you want to use for JAWS 15, either press delete to delete the shortcut or type some other key combination for JAWS 14. Shortcut keys don't work if the same keys are assigned to multiple items.

Then tab until you see shortcut key edit box if it says shortcut key alt control j then you should be ok but if it says shortcut key none hit the letter j or whatever letter you want and then shortcut key will be alt control plus the letter you chose. Tab until you see apply and then press enter. Then tab until you see ok and press enter. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Linda Vanderlitz Sent: Monday, November 25, 2013 8:45 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] Changing a shortcut key I have just installed JAWS 15 but forgot to change the shortcut key I was using when I had Jaws 14. I can't remember how to make the change. Could someone please tell me how to do that? I am using Windows 7. Thanks. Linda To err is human but to really mess things up, one needs a computer.
