So far as JAWS is concerned power management is not an issue. It is the operation of your computer like waking it up ETC that is the problem.
I always turn that hibernation stuff off myself. The hard drive is personal preference. This system would sleep/hibernate in 20 or 30 minutes and there was nothing I could do to wake it back up- black screen and no sound. What do others do with these settings?
