So far today I just removed some tutorials that were XP specific. There are some programs that might have to go although you are correct that the line on that page is a little more fuzzy so I will be careful.
So far I have run in to 3 programs off the top of my memory that don't work or in some cases even install in 7. Nero 6 and quicken 2003 are a couple of examples that simply will not even install on 7. There is a firewall program on the server I tried to install on 7 and it went in just fine, it simply refused to work. Many 32 bit programs will work just fine on 64 bit systems, unfortunately there is no way to know without trying to find out. A few examples of ones which I use include MP3 Direct Cut and Juice. Also, XP systems which are not attached to the Internet will serve their owners for a long time to come. Finally, virtual machines and XP mode on Win 7 Pro provide a great way to run those programs which will not work in native Win 7. And although I am sure that they exist, I have not run across a single old program which I have not been able to get working under Win 7. So, don't get too frisky with the delete key!
