Can you get them, BBC and/or CNN, from the main RadioSure list? How many Favorites have you saved in RadioSure? (There is a limit to how many RadioSure will allow. This is also true for the free version of TapinRadio.)

BBC and CNN just don't play when I press enter on them. I have them in
favorites there in radio sure, but I get nothing from them.

There are other stations in the list that do play, so I can't understand why
those two wont!

I actually tried Tapinradio and couldn't figure it out.

When you say you can't get them, can you find the station(s) but they
don't play when you press ENTER? o r can you not find them there at all? As i indicated, on my Windows7 64-bit Toshiba I get BBC World Service +
all of the other available BBC Radio stations and they play; and, the
CNN Radio and CNN TV stations, which both play.

Now, for another possible peculiarity. there are more stations (and
several of those don't play) in my version of RadioSure running on my
Windows XP computer, than there are in the version on my Win7 laptop.
The XP one probably has an earlier iteration of RadioSure on it, as it
was installed there two years prior. More stations got added to it over time; and more stations got added to the Win7 one since it was installed
in Sept 2012. Pot luck? Could be. <grin>

I believe I saw that x86 spec. I also have it on a 64 bit Lenovo Vista
laptop with no problems.

I do get other stations on that windows 7 Toshiba.

Are you getting other stations on your Win7 64-bit RadioSure? Did you
run the program from its install in the X86\Programs folder? (It is a
32-bit program, thus the x86 spec.)

perhaps the version on there is a different or later one than that on
your other computers?

The weird thing is, I get BBC and CNN just fine on other computers
that I
have here, so why not on that 64 bit Windows 7 Toshiba laptop.? It
just
doesn't make sense to me.

Hi,
No problems with it here. It uses its own player, so WMP12 doesn't
have
a role in it. What you do is find the list of radio stations and just scroll down through it till you come to the station you want to play.
(You can also use page/Down and /Up as well as Up/DownArrow keys, to
find it.) Both BBC - there are several BB C stations - and CNN (both
Radio and TV) are coming in fine here, on a Windows7 64-bit Toshiba
laptop, JAWS any working version. Now RADIOSure isn't the most
accessible player out there, but it's simple to use and effective. As
for why some stations don't come in, it may be because their URL's
haven't been updated in the RadioSure database recently enough.

I'm using JAWS 14 on a windows 7 Toshiba laptop and in setting up
Radio
sure? I'm finding that some radio stations play while others don't.
Two
that I really want to play are BBC and CNN. I've tried everything I
know
of, and still no go!

This laptop has WMP 12 and I'm wondering if there's a setting I'm
missing in
that program.

Can someone help?
