Hi Kelsey, Actually, if you have your updates set to "automatic", you can choose when they are installed, such as daily, or a particular day of the week, and an approximate time. This is true of both Windows XP and 7. Note: If you have your updates set to automatic, you will not have an opportunity to review them before they are installed. Not all updates are necessary for every system, I have found this to be true especially in Win7. HTH, Rick Justice
Tomorrow's another day, another way! and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kelsey Nicolay" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, January 04, 2014 8:34 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] automatic windows update and jaws Hello, Regarding the updates, no, I am pretty sure windows does updates whenE it darn well feels like it lol. It could be 3:00 in the morning or in the middle of a paper at 12:00 in the afternoon. Yes, that actually did happen to me. JAWS just starts talking, so if you leave your computer on, be prepared for that. I live at home, so one night it woke my family up.
