This happens occasionally with latest Firefox and Jaws 15 on Win 7. With Jaws 14 it happened a lot! I used to restart the computer but discovered that I can use Alt Control Delete to go to task manager and make Firefox close. Much handier than having to restart the whole computer.

Had that happen the other day. Couldn't get it back for anything. I
just figured it had something to do with windows 8.1, my wife could see
firefox when i alt-tabbed, but we couldn't interact with it once the
crash started.
